High altitude, anywhere

Creating spaces where modern people—who struggle to secure sufficient time for exercise—can easily maintain their health.

Although many people recognize the importance of exercise, today’s busy lifestyles make it difficult to find enough time. This creates a need for an environment where short-duration, low intensity exercise can deliver the same benefits as long hours of conventional training.

Daikin’s hypoxic system creates a “low oxygen environment” that reproduces a high altitude training space, enabling users to achieve significant training effects in a shorter period of time.

This product is not a medical device.

Effective training with short,
low‑intensity workouts in a hypoxic environment

If fitness and training can be performed in an urban hypoxic room, individuals can maintain their health with shorter, lower‑intensity workouts. This makes hypoxic training suitable not only for athletes, but also for busy professionals and people without regular exercise habits.
Recent studies also report various additional benefits—such as lifestyle improvement and beauty-related effects—when exercising in a hypoxic environment.

Potential Installation Locations

Training gyms / fitness clubs

Effective for both light and high‑intensity workouts, enabling efficient training under hypoxic conditions.

Offices

Even busy professionals can address inactivity and maintain health in a short time if a hypoxic room is available within the office.

Rehabilitation facilities

Individuals who cannot perform intense training due to injury can still achieve strong exercise effects with low‑intensity activity.

Beauty / wellness facilities

Exercise in hypoxic environments may also provide beauty‑enhancing benefits.

Creating a Hypoxic Space
Using Controlled Oxygen Concentration

Medical‑grade technology for reliable, quiet, and flexible hypoxic environments

Daikin’s hypoxic system can be deployed across various room sizes and is suitable even for environments where quietness is required, such as office spaces.
The system controls oxygen concentration between 18.2% and 13.0% (equivalent to an altitude of 1,200–3,900 m), allowing for customized hypoxic environments depending on the application.

Ambient oxygen concentration in ordinary living spaces is approximately 21%.

Features of our hypoxic system

Reliability

Quality and reliability developed through medical device

High quality and durability cultivated through medical oxygen‑concentrator technology, providing stable low‑oxygen environments.

Quietness

Applying the technology of oxygen concentrators that can be used even in bedrooms

Applies oxygen‑concentrator technologies used in bedroom environments, enabling installation in noise‑sensitive spaces.

Flexibility

Flexible performance settings tailored to the space

Modular unit configurations allow easy adaptation to space requirements as well as simplified delivery and installation.

Scheduled Operation

Automatically controls oxygen concentration by the set time

Start/stop times and target altitude by the desired time can be set by day of the week.

Automatic CO₂ Control

An automatic ventilation system for a comfortable indoor environment

Automatically controls CO₂ concentration in addition to oxygen. When CO₂ exceeds the set threshold, the system activates ventilation.

Altitude Display

A quick glance at the current oxygen concentration

Displays the oxygen concentration and its corresponding altitude. Background images can be customized.

Remote Monitoring

A system that helps prevent issues and resolve them quickly.

Provide remote monitoring of customers’ hypoxic systems to prevent unexpected issues and enable rapid troubleshooting when problems occur.

Hyperoxic system

A recovery and refresh experience surrounded by oxygen.

This system can also create an oxygen-rich space by utilizing concentrated oxygen generated from the hypoxia system, helping users recover and refresh while inside.
